Experienced Cabinet Finisher / Painter

M | A Cabinetry is looking for an experienced painter/finisher to join our custom cabinet shop. We specialize in high-end custom cabinetry and built-ins, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in producing an exceptional finished product.
This is not a basic house-painting position. We’re looking for someone with experience in professional spray finishing who understands the preparation and attention to detail required for high-end cabinetry.
Responsibilities
- Prep cabinet doors, face frames, panels, and other millwork for finishing
- Sand, fill, caulk, and correct imperfections before finishing
- Spray primers, paints, clear coats, and other finishes
- Produce smooth, consistent, furniture-quality finishes
- Inspect finished pieces and correct defects when necessary
- Maintain spray equipment and keep the finishing area clean and organized
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
- Has professional painting or spray-finishing experience
- Understands proper sanding and surface preparation
- Has a strong eye for detail and can identify and properly address imperfections
- Can identify workflow pinch points and find solutions to increase efficiency
- Takes pride in their work and doesn’t consider “good enough” finished
- Is dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Cabinet, millwork, furniture, automotive, or similar high-quality finishing experience is a major plus
- Experience with 2K finishes, solvent-based coatings, air-assisted airless spray systems, stains, glazes, and clear coats is especially valuable.

Pay: Competitive and based on experience; paid holidays and PTO
Schedule: Full-time
