Job Purpose:
In compliance with established policies and procedures, the Operations Manager performs data processing and operations functions along with internal and external customer service for all Midstates Bank's branches. This position also leads initiatives as directed by the strategic plan of the bank. The Operations Manager will perform assigned duties in accordance with Midstates Bank's Core Values and will adhere to the Quality Service Standards.
Essential Functions:
- Manages SilverLake system for the bank including parameters, user security, updates, releases, end of year and tax reporting.
- Assures that the bank has access to and is prepared to apply innovations in operational systems and support functions; recommend changes that meet the bank's strategic initiatives.
- Manages, coaches, and leads the Operations Team. Conducts regular performance reviews and manages employee relations of team including personnel issues.
- Maintains appropriate staffing to meet the ongoing needs of the bank and its clients.
- Assists in the bank's contingency and disaster recovery plans.
- Leads support for all Silverlake operational items that are not loan specific.
- Manages the backroom support for digital banking, including but not limited to, remote deposit, cash management and bill pay services.
- Assists in day-to-day operational support of all Midstates Bank locations including, but not limited to, file maintenance, routine deposit procedure questions, online banking reset, and debit cards.
- Provides wire support to locations.
- Gathers, participates, and remediates any audits related to Operations - specifically ACH, IT Controls, and Wires.
- Identifies and implements operational efficiencies working with the COO and VP of Community Banking as needed.
- Provides research support to all locations - statements, ACH questions, etc.
- Assists in fraud detection, monitoring and reporting.
- Participates in civic activities to promote growth and development of the community and a positive image for the bank.

Education:
HS diploma or equivalent, Bachelors preferred, NACHA accreditation preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years banking operations experience required; Jack Henry SilverLake or 20/20 Core Experience preferred; personnel management experience preferred
