Midnight Sol Enterprises LLC is a growing convenience services company looking for a reliable individual to join our small, dedicated team. We operate out of Ames, with daily transit starting and ending in Des Moines.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you will work directly alongside the owner. You will act as both a route driver and a service assistant, ensuring our vending machines and micro-markets are stocked, functional, and efficient.
Primary Responsibilities
- Logistics: Pick up the owner and company vehicle in Des Moines each morning; drop off at the end of the shift.
- Vending Service: Drive to locations to stock, clean, and repair vending machines.
- Micro-market Service: Drive to locations to stock, clean, and repair micro-markets.
- Operations: Pre-kit orders, load/unload the company vehicle, and perform machine audits.
- Warehouse: Maintain organization, rotate inventory for freshness, and conduct regular counts.
- Maintenance: Respond to service calls and perform technical repairs on equipment.
Requirements
- Clean Driving Record: Must be eligible for coverage under company vehicle insurance.
- Background Check: Must pass a federal background check to gain access to secure client facilities.
- Reliability: Punctuality is essential for daily Des Moines pickups.
- Physical Ability: Capable of loading vehicles and moving product inventory daily.
- Must understand that employment is "at-will," meaning either party can end the relationship at any time for any lawful reason.
