Role Description This is a full-time, on-site 1099 subcontractor role based in Palm Beach County, FL, focused on residential and commercial cleaning services. Day-to-day tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, cleaning windows and mirrors, and maintaining common areas in homes and business spaces. The cleaner will follow established checklists and client-specific instructions, ensure proper use of cleaning products and equipment, and uphold safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities also include reporting maintenance or safety issues, securing property upon completion, and managing time effectively to complete scheduled jobs. The role requires clear, respectful communication with clients and the Midnight Oil team, consistent punctuality, and a professional, courteous presence on-site.
Qualifications

- Dependable and trustworthy
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Communication, Customer Service, and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully in client homes and workplaces.
- Familiarity with Residential Real Estate settings, including working in occupied homes, condos, and rental properties, and respecting client property and privacy.
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial cleaning, with knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and safe chemical handling.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around Palm Beach County, FL, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule within full-time hours.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods, and to carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a 1099 subcontractor.
