Job Summary
Midnight Diner is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused American Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help provide an enjoyable dining experience. This role assists with guest service, food and beverage handling, order preparation, dining area cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork between kitchen and service staff.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional assistance.
- Assist guests with seating, menus, and general dining inquiries.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
- Assist with preparing, assembling, packaging, and serving menu items as needed.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
- Answer basic questions about menu items and available options.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as assigned.
- Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Maintain clean and presentable counters, service stations, tables, and workspaces.
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, packaging, and other supplies.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to support accurate and timely order preparation.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
- Communicate guest concerns, special requests, and service issues to supervisors.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
- Help maintain consistent service quality and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications
