What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line cook and baker assistant position at Midnight Bear Breads?
Midnight Bear Breads is an artisan bakery and cafe in Lawai! We are adding a few members to the team. Looking for friendly, reliable individuals to work in a fast paced environment, with a willingness to learn. Experience preferred, but not required.
**Open Positions:
Baker/Chef: Cut and shape bread and croissants, top pastries, follow recipes to make doughs and fillings, work with head baker. Make a variety of sandwiches and breakfast & lunch items to order in a quick and consistent manner. Prep meats, veggies and sauces, keep a clean work area. Some kitchen experience preferred.
Delivery Driver & Product Packager: label and bag all bread to be delivered to wholesale accounts. Drive between Lawai and Princeville delivering products on Wednesday and Fridays.
Dishwasher: Afternoon shift doing dishes and general cleaning.
Compensation:
$17-$26/hour starting pay, plus tips. Consistent raises given after showing reliability and good work ethic after initial training period. Tips average $30-$100/ shift additional to hourly pay.
