Job Summary :
As a licensed Emergency Medical Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency medical care to patients with medical and traumatic emergencies, aiming to improve patient outcomes through your trained interventions.
Key Responsibilities :
- 50%) Act autonomously to assess and initiate emergency response plans, including invasive procedures such as pleural decompression and endotracheal intubation, as well as non-invasive monitoring techniques.
- 25%) Conduct patient assessments and interventions during inter-hospital transfers, utilizing advanced medical equipment to ensure optimal care.
- 25%) Supervise and guide the medical management of rescue personnel, fostering effective collaboration with various emergency services.
Additional Duties :
Certifications and Licenses :
ACLS, BLS, PALS, EMT-P, PHTLS, and TEAM ADVANCED within specified time frames after hire.
Required Education :
High school diploma or GED.
Experience and Skills :
Minimum of 2 years of emergency education and related experience, proficiency in emergency medical procedures, and strong ability to manage stressful situations while working independently and effectively.
Physical Requirements :
Must be capable of handling very heavy physical demands, including lifting over 100 lbs occasionally and standing or walking for extended periods.
