Overview
Midlothian Montessori is hiring! We are looking for a candidate with strong classroom leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience in classroom management and a strong interest in Montessori education.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in educating students using Montessori methods and philosophy
- Implement effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process and foster independence and concentration
- Contribute to creating a positive classroom environment
- Provide support students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Helping day- to- day functioning of program, to include health and safety and compliance regulations
-Assisting with organization, and maintaining cleanliness and order
Experience
- Previous experience working with students
- Childcare skills and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment
