What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Member position at Midlands Landscape?
Summary:
The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for collaborating with their team to maintain both commercial and residential properties throughout the Midlands, while adhering to all safety guidelines in place. Requirements:
- Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.
- Must possess an acceptable motor vehicle record in order to be insured on our commercial policy.
- Must have a minimum of two years of commercial landscaping/lawn maintenance experience (personal landscaping experience is not accepted) OR be with your current employer for a minimum of three years.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 16' box trucks to and from job sites around the Midlands.
- Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including but not limited to zero turn mowers, push mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Ensure that our standard scope of work is completed to the highest quality of standards at each visit.
- Utilize technology to communicate with the office and clients, including notating job visits and uploading photos.
Essential Functions:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to withstand extreme climates in both summer and winter
- Able to perform repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, etc, for long periods of time.
- Able to walk/stand for up to nine and a half hours per day.
Schedule & Pay:
- 7am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursdays, with overtime required as needed.
- $17-$24 per hour, based on experience.
