Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Advisor, based in Lincoln, NE and Omaha, NE, with some remote work flexibility. The Financial Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, investment advice, and personalized financial advisory services to clients. Day-to-day tasks include assessing clients' financial situations, developing tailored financial plans, advising on investment strategies, and helping clients set and achieve their financial goals. The Advisor must be comfortable with various forms of marketing such as cold-calling, B2B, appointment setting, public speaking, client acquisition and marketing campaigns. They will also be responsible for creating referral opportunities with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, insurance firms and more. Travelling to various networking events, conventions and seminars will be paid for and are required. Paid training and licensing included.
Qualifications
- Skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning a plus
- Background in sales and finance
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field a plus but not required
