Midlands Business Equipment is a nationwide technology solutions provider with a focus in Software, Hardware and Payments. We have been in business for over 35 years and support clients all over the US. We are growing rapidly and are seeking Support Technicians to join our Iowa based team.
Position Summary:
As a desktop support technician, you will work as a member of our technical support team. You will provide both on and off-site support, telephone support and remote support for hardware and software. Typical work hours are M-F, 8:00 - 4:30 with some travel.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain technical knowledge of our hardware and software product lines
-Setup, configure and test hardware and software components
-Install software and hardware
-Provide telephone, remote and on-site support for clients in order to find resolutions to problems
-Provide training to clients regarding software and hardware
Experience/Skills:
-Windows, Networking and Computer Hardware knowledge
-Great Customer Service skills
-Effectively troubleshoot and seek resolutions in an efficient manner
-Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
-Proactively builds positive and enduring customer relationships
