Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is accepting applications for the Graduate Assistant - Sports Information Specialist position. This position will be offered within our graduate assistant structure, requiring admission to the University's Master of Education, Master of Science Learning and Talent Development, Master of Science and Sports Administration and Leadership, or Master of Business Administration programs. The candidate will write game, meet, and event summaries, create press releases, produce athletics publications, stat keeping, and other tasks and duties. The position offers tuition remission from the University and may include a monthly stipend and an on-campus meal plan.

- A bachelor's degree (English, Communications, Sports Management or similar preferred)

- A minimum of one semester of demonstrable previous experience in an SID office setting
- Previous experience as a writer, journalist, yearbook editor, or similar
- Adobe Creative Suite software experience
- Video filming and editing experience
- Experience with graphic/publication design using Photoshop and InDesign
- StatCrew and/or DakStats software experience
