About the Role
The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing for surgical procedures, demonstrating competence as a member of the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field during procedures, preparing supplies and equipment, and supporting quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification as required by state and/or center
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
- Aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
