This position is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of plastic products using cutting tools, bending and bonding, plastic welders and hand tools to produce parts. This position is also responsible for operating CNC knife cutter, CNC routers, vertical mills and lathes to machine plastic parts. Uses precision instruments, hand tools and other equipment as needed.

- Setup and operates strip heaters, brake press and oven
- Setup and operates drill presses, table routers and saws
- Setup and operates hot air plastic welders
- Frequently uses hand and power tools
- Fits and assembles parts and attaches hardware and fittings
- Set up and operate CNC machinery
- Reads and understands blueprints and setup sheets
- Uses measuring tools as needed to verify parts.
- Maintains safe and clean work area
- Perform other tasks assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience and/or training
- Mathematic aptitude includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to use measurement tools (Tape Measure, Digital Caliper)
- Ability to operate CNC machinery or willingness to learn CNC equipment is required.
- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools in a production setting.
- Experience setting up and operating equipment such as strip heaters, brake presses, ovens, drill presses, routers, and saws, is preferred.
