What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Inventory Control/Receiving position at Midland Paper, Packaging and Supplies?
POSITION SUMMARY
To provide excellent customer service by ensuring that orders are pulled, packaged, converted, shipped and loaded accurately and free from visible damage or defect. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Daily inventory cycle counts
- Inventory Replenishments
- Monitoring of inventory and keeping it in correct locations
- Use computer equipment to generate labels, check stock, input data for shipping status, prepare UPS/FedEx shipments and create shipping manifests.
- Unload trucks making sure: truck is chocked before attempting to unload product; truck bed is clear of debris, obstruction or defect for safe entry/exit; incoming product is free from damage and coincides with packing list or return authorization; and freight is properly positioned and secured in the truck.
- Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly.
- Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis.
- Experience operating stand up reach truck and electric pallet jack required. Experience operating cherry picker and order picker preferred.

- Stand Up Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
- Reach truck: 2 years (Preferred)
- Warehouse Experience: 2 years (Required)
