Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that align with Montessori principles.
- Provide care and supervision for pre-schoolers/toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Engage with children in various educational activities, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum, by adapting lessons and activities as necessary.
- Help organize classroom materials and maintain an orderly space conducive to learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable.
