Job Description
Responsibilities include the following: special notifications, taking and transcribing committee meeting minutes; assembling, copying and distributing committee packets; creates and monitors policy changes; maintaining spreadsheets for statistical analysis, input data and providing general clerical support for the Director of Radiology. Performs other administrative assistant duties as assigned.

Ø Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.

Essential Functions/Performance Expectations
- Responsible for taking and transcribing committee meeting minutes; assembling, copying and distributing committee packets. Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
- Maintain, create, and analyze statistical graphs of modality utilization.
- Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of computer software programs databases, data analysis systems, microcomputer spreadsheet and graphics software, web-based programs/navigation. Able to use (or willing to learn) computer software applications; such as MS Office programs/Outlook, Policy Tech, Cater Trax, and Radiology Information and PAC Systems.
- Able to critically think to independently solve various problems or understand when guidance is needed.
- Able to work remotely with minimal supervision; completing tasks on time.
- Contributes to the organization and efficiency of the department; able to float to other areas, as needed.
- Clearly collaborates and communicates in verbal and written forms with Director about projects.
- Works and clears off Special Notification/ER Discrepancy list; understanding urgency in communication abnormal findings to the medical providers.
- Obtains and maintains information about each imaging modality.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. College work is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
