Hospital system looking to bring on Pharmacy Director! Full Relocation!
Manages the medication use process through the planning, organization, management, and direction of the operations, clinical activities and staff of the Pharmacy Department
Responsibilities:
- Provides direction of the department through the development, implementation, evaluation and modification of the hospital’s pharmacy practice to align with best practices within the profession
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with federal, state and local laws and accrediting bodies
- Recruits, hires, develops and retains competent pharmacy staff
- Creates the annual budget and submits capital expenditures requests per policy
- Reviews and revisions of Policy and Procedures annually or as required by hospital bylaws
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Pharm. D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Master's Degree preferred
- State of Tennessee Pharmacy License
- 5 years of pharmacy experience, 3 years working in hospital pharmacy management
- Pharmacy residency or fellowship training
