A leading Arizona hospital is seeking an accomplished Administrative Director of Nursing for Surgical Services to oversee strategic growth and operational excellence within perioperative care. This role is a key member of the market leadership team, driving service line expansion, physician engagement, and operational strategies that elevate patient care, improve outcomes, and strengthen the hospital’s competitive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to design and implement transformative growth strategies for surgical services.
- Lead operational planning, execution, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with hospital and market strategic goals.
- Build and sustain strong physician relationships, optimizing collaboration and engagement.
- Develop business cases for capital investments (CAPEX) and ensure optimal utilization of resources and assets.
- Collaborate across hospitals, ambulatory clinics, urgent care centers, and surgical centers to create integrated service line strategies.
- Analyze market insights and performance metrics to drive sustainable financial growth and enhanced patient access.
- Serve as a critical contributor in annual business planning and service line strategy development.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Nursing, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Healthcare preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in an acute care hospital, ambulatory center, or healthcare-related organization.
- Strong background in physician relations, program development, and strategic planning required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN license in state of practice or compact state (or other professional licensure as required by law/regulation).
