Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Tonawanda, NY. The Welder will fabricate and assemble metal components for road widening equipment using various welding processes, including reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Day-to-day work includes setting up welding equipment, preparing materials, performing precise welds, and inspecting completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity. The role involves working with the production team, following safety procedures, maintaining tools and work areas, and assisting with fitting, grinding, and finishing tasks as needed. The Welder will also collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve fabrication issues and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in core welding processes, including Welding, Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding.
- Experience working with different Materials, such as various grades of steel and other metals, including cutting, fitting, and preparation for welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety practices, including proper use of PPE and safe operation of welding and shop equipment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environment is preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity, stamina, and ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Relevant welding certification or technical training is a plus; willingness to learn and develop new skills is highly valued.
