Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work in accordance with Midland’s and factory manufacturer standards.
  • Complete system diagnostics and full vehicle troubleshooting and testing.
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend services and preventive maintenance accordingly.
  • Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Midland’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications – What we are looking for:

  • Two or more years of previous experience as an automotive or diesel technician.
  • Light/Medium duty diesel experience preferred, but not required.
  • Solid knowledge of diesel engine components and diagnostics including:
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Electrical and HVAC components
  • Fuel and Oil systems
  • Complete engines
  • Emissions
  • Suspension & Differentials
  • Brake and hydraulic systems
  • Automotive/Diesel technical or trade school degree is a boost, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime
  • Typical hours: Monday – Friday, start at 8am and finish by 5pm

Range is subject to skill set, experience and training or certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
