- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with students, families, and colleagues
- Advanced degree in Reading Intervention, Learning Disabilities, or related field
- Training or certification in structured literacy
- Experience with MTSS/RTI frameworks in a school setting

Essential Functions

- Academic Intervention & Instruction
- Identify students in need of academic intervention through universal screening, teacher referrals, and data analysis
- Design and implement targeted small-group and individual intervention sessions in reading, writing, and/or mathematics
- Use evidence-based intervention programs and strategies aligned with school curriculum
- Monitor student progress using formative assessments and adjust instructional plans accordingly
- Co-teach or provide in-class support in collaboration with content-area teachers as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of student performance, progress monitoring data, and intervention logs
- Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents regarding student progress and intervention plans
- Facilitate or participate in parent-teacher meetings to share data and discuss support strategies
- Provide professional development to faculty on intervention strategies, learning differences, and data-informed instruction.

- Incorporate a biblical worldview into all interactions, modeling Christian character and servant leadership
- Pray with and for students, offering spiritual encouragement alongside academic support
