Employment Type: Part-Time | Saturday- Sunday | 7am-2pm
Pay Rate: $11.50 Per Hour
Location: Topeka, KS
Shift differential rates:
- $1 for weekday hours after 5pm - 8am
- $1.50 for weekend hours between 8am - 5pm
- $2 for weekend hours after 5pm - 8pm
We are currently seeking a compassionate and hospitable Houseparent to join our team at the Midland Care Hospice House. As a Houseparent, you will play a crucial role in providing hospitality and meal service to our clients and their families, creating a warm and welcoming environment during their stay. This position offers you a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while also earning extra income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a calm, nurturing presence and assist with non-clinical support to residents
- Maintain the home-like atmosphere by preparing baked goods, tidying shared spaces and overall support to all that enter
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure the environment reflects dignity, safety, and compassion
