What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and transaction processing (excluding billing)
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variances, and trend reports for the CFO and leadership
- Oversee treasury management, cash flow, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations across all programs
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
- Partner with program leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making
- Oversee the development and submission of the annual PACE Part D bid to CMS
- Support financial strategic planning, growth initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with Development on restricted funds, capital campaigns, and donor reporting
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Demonstrated managerial experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
- Valid KS or MO driver’s license with insurable driving record
- CPA and/or MBA
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or complex multi-program environments
- In-person role with business casual dress
- Office-based environment with standard business hours
