Towing Services Operations Manager

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Towing and Field Operations Manager to lead our vehicle towing operations and ensure seamless coordination within our towing services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily dispatch activities, manage communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams, and optimize fleet utilization. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficient road transportation operations, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers a dynamic environment where your leadership and logistical expertise will drive operational success.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate and dispatch towing vehicles efficiently using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Towbooks Software Management.
• Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming requests, provide updates, and communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Monitor GPS and GIS tools to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely service delivery in compliance with DOT regulationns.
• Maintain accurate data entry of dispatch logs, incident reports, and customer interactions while ensuring adherence to internal communication protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional phone etiquette, clear communication skills, and prompt issue resolution.
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced service quality.
• Represent company throughout legal operations and required vehicle disposal process.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and experience in towing and or repossession operations or logistics management with a focus on dispatching or fleet coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) along with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or vehicle dispatch software.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, GIS tools, DOT regulations, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analysis skills for interpreting transportation data and making strategic decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for managing internal communication channels and customer interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently with multi-line phone systems and internal communication platforms while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
