What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Midland Allergy Clinic?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team! We are an allergy and immunology practice with two locations. The primary practice location for this person will be in Midland, but there may be a time when they have to travel to the Bay City office location. Working hours are our clinic hours, found on our website. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, who works well with others and pays a great deal of attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Administering injections to patients following the clinic guidelines
- Helping the physicians with patient care
- Pulmonary Function Testing
- Handling patient concerns and requests via phone and in person
- Sending prescriptions and processing prescription requests following the clinic guidelines
- Making serum and following formulas
- Being mindful of HIPAA
- Using and documenting via office EHR
- Keeping a clean and organized work station
- Keeping a Positive attitude with Patients and Co-workers
- Other tasks set by the physicians or office manager

Work Experience:
- At least 1 year of related experience (Preferred not Required)
Education:
- Completed Medical Assistant program (Certificate Preferred)
