Bartender Job Description:
We are looking for a prn/as needed experienced bartender for our private member establishment who can provide our membership with an outstanding experience. Our ideal candidate must be able to communicate in a professional and friendly manner, be a team player, prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to perfection, maintain a clean and well-organized work station, and ensure the bar is always fully stocked.
Responsibilities of a Bartender:
- Taking orders and serving drinks and food to bar customers
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Mixing classic and innovative cocktails
- Communicating in a friendly and professional manner
- Nurturing customers to provide an exceptional experience
- Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
Bartender Job Requirements:
- Experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages
- A bartending certificate is a plus
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Professional and positive disposition
- Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked and well-organized
- Flexibility and willingness to work when needed
Typical hours when scheduled Monday - Friday is 4:30 pm - 10/11pm. Availability Saturday and/or Sundays for private parties is required. Generally there is plenty of advance notice for special events. Compensation will be as stated plus tips. All potential employees must complete a drug screen and background check.
