Located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we are an independent insurance agency looking for a licensed, experienced Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager to join our team!
As a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager, you will be instrumental in the expansion of our Personal Lines book by helping to maintain an existing book of business, while looking for new opportunities for growth and rounding of accounts. You will apply your insurance knowledge and experience to cultivate long-term relationships with our clients and the community. We are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients and delivering on our promise to protect their assets and livelihood using a proactive approach. You will be part of our collaborative and supportive team with opportunities to learn, grow and succeed!
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Maintaining existing Personal Lines book of business by performing servicing functions including, but not limited to, reviewing renewals, processing endorsements, responding to insured or underwriter inquiries and performing annual policy reviews
- Assisting policyholders with claims
- Taking pro-active steps to maintain and improve retention of existing accounts
- Identifying opportunities to round out accounts or cross-sell and making recommendations to clients
- Developing long-term relationships with clients, carriers and underwriters
- Providing a positive client experience
- Documenting agency management system and following established agency processes
Ideal Candidate Qualifications Include:
- P&C License required
- Experience and product knowledge of Personal Lines insurance and carriers
- Professional and positive attitude and demeanor
- Must be persistent, driven and able to build and utilize a variety of resources
- Highly-effective verbal and written communication skills, including email, phone and text
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems, technology and on-line programs
- Attention to detail and ability to create concise, pertinent documentation in agency management system
