Recovery Administrative Clerk perform the following functions:
- Assist members, branches, and other back office departments with any collection issues.
- Process and submit files as well as respond to attorneys’ request for information or documentation.
- Process/Work reports assigned.
- Skip Trace account to locate members, assets, etc.. for legal referral.
- Process recovery/charged off payments accurately and according to procedures.
- Responsible for assigning post charge off vehicles for Repossession with designated agent.
- Responsible for reviewing and presenting to the Lead Recovery specialist or Management, proposals from debt management companies including communicating with the MCU and the debt management company.
- You are responsible for handling the Guarantee of Titles on Charge off auto loans.
- Treat our members and internal staff with respect, empathize with their situation, and identify a win-win outcome for both the members and the credit union.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines.
- Provide technical solutions in support of MIDFLORIDA’s electronic services.
- Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always.
- Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Possess excellent customer service skills along with strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have a strong desire to help people.
- Proficient in the use of computers, the internet and Microsoft Office.
- Proven collections experience with a financial company; experience with Skip Tracing and auto repossession is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Position is an "In office, NOT a remote position".
