Oklahoma, OK Full Time
POSTED ON 7/16/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/16/2026

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration and oversight of data enablement programs across the organization. This role serves as the primary point of contact for business users and enterprise stakeholders, ensuring that program requirements, standards, and guardrails are understood and followed across departments. The Project Manager manages the operating model for multiple enablement programs, maintains consistency in onboarding and lifecycle processes, and acts as a steward of enablement standards and best practices. Working closely with governance, platform, and business teams, this role connects users to the right capabilities, supports citizen developer learning paths, and helps shape demand toward reusable, governed solutions.

Program Administration and Governance

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations for data enablement programs under a common operating model.
  • Ensure program requirements, usage policies, and governance expectations are understood and followed across departments.
  • Maintain consistency in onboarding, access management, and lifecycle processes across enablement programs.
  • Coordinate with data governance and risk partners to ensure enablement activities align with control, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Support documentation, tracking, and periodic review of program exceptions and approved deviations from standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Support

  • Serve as the primary “front door” for business users seeking access to data enablement capabilities, tools, and services.
  • Triage incoming requests to determine appropriate level of support and route them to the correct platform, team, or process (self‑service, advanced technical support, or enterprise‑owned solution).
  • Help business users interpret and apply governance and usage requirements in the context of their use cases.
  • Shape demand by redirecting work to reusable assets, shared datasets, or existing solutions where appropriate.
  • Provide clear, timely communication to business stakeholders regarding request status, next steps, and expectations.

Standards, Best Practices, and Continuous Improvement

  • Act as a steward of enablement standards and best practices, reinforcing their application across programs and user communities.
  • Identify gaps, friction points, and recurring questions related to standards or governance requirements and provide structured feedback to governance and platform teams.
  • Support the design, documentation, and periodic review of standards, reference architectures, and operating procedures for enablement programs.
  • Coordinate exception documentation, approvals, and scheduled reassessments to ensure ongoing appropriateness.
  • Monitor program metrics and user feedback to recommend improvements to processes, standards, and support models.

Learning, Training, and Communities of Practice

  • Develop and maintain role‑based learning paths for citizen developers and other enablement participants in partnership with platform and training teams.
  • Curate and organize training materials, standards, templates, and reference guides in a central, easily accessible location.
  • Deliver or coordinate enablement sessions, office hours, onboarding workshops, and refresher trainings.
  • Track participation, certification, and skill progression across enablement programs to inform capacity planning and targeting of additional training.
  • Establish and facilitate communities of practice for tool users and program participants to promote sharing of patterns, reusable assets, and lessons learned.

Demand Management, Communication, and Change Enablement

  • Identify common challenges, themes, and systemic issues across use cases and escalate them to enterprise governance and platform teams.
  • Reduce duplication of effort by connecting teams working on similar or overlapping use cases and promoting reuse of existing solutions.
  • Communicate changes, new features, deprecations, and roadmaps to enablement communities in coordination with platform owners.
  • Coordinate pilots or phased rollouts of new capabilities for citizen developers, including participant selection, communication, and feedback collection.
  • Gather structured feedback from users and communities of practice to inform platform and program roadmap prioritization.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree - Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics

  • 5-7 Experience in program coordination, project management, or operational support roles, preferably in data, analytics, or technology enablement contexts.
  • Exposure to data management, data governance, analytics, or citizen development programs preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and requests concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain standards and governance expectations to non‑technical audiences.
  • Customer‑service orientation with a focus on enabling business value while maintaining appropriate controls and guardrails.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback and usage patterns into actionable improvements for standards, processes, and training.
