About Us

The New Jersey Titans are a premier junior and youth ice hockey organization based in Middletown, NJ with teams competing in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and youth development programs that span multiple age groups and skill levels. Our program is built on player development, competitive excellence, and opportunities for advancement — with a track record of success both on and off the ice.

We play our home games and host community events at the Middletown Sports Complex, a state-of-the-art community facility featuring a 1000 seat ice arena plus a second full sized rink, training amenities, and recreational offerings. The complex welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year through games, programs, public skating, camps, special events, and community activities — providing huge visibility for sponsorship marketing opportunities.

About the Role

We are expanding our Giving Partnership Division and searching for two proactive, in-person sales professionals — one in Middletown and one in Brick Township at our second facility.

In this role, you will engage local businesses through outbound outreach (cold calls, cold visits, follow-ups) and cultivate long-term sponsorships that help fund our nonprofit operations. Your work will support The Titans’ mission while offering real marketing value to local companies through visibility at one of the region’s busiest community sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and outreach to local business owners by phone and in person

  • Present and sell sponsorship opportunities, including:
  • Facility banners and signage
  • Game and event sponsorships
  • Advertising within the rink and community promotions
  • Build and manage a pipeline of Giving Partners
  • Attend and host meetings, events, and game-day functions
  • Provide excellent high-touch customer support to existing partners

This role is ideal for someone with an energetic, relationship-driven approach to sales who thrives in community and face-to-face environments.

Schedule & Work Setting

· In-person — not remote

  • Five days per week: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Additional hours as needed for client meetings and events

Compensation & Benefits

· Base Salary: $30,000 per year

· Commission: 15% on paid and closed deals

· Paid Time Off

· Sick Time

· Paid Holidays

Who We’re Looking For

You should:

· Be comfortable with cold outreach — calls and in-person visits

  • Be professional and personable, with strong communication skills
  • Be driven by results and growth
  • Enjoy representing a nonprofit with a meaningful mission
  • Have sales experience or a strong interest in developing a sales career

Experience with sports sponsorships or community outreach is a plus, but not required.
