POSITION: 2026 Summer School Paraeducator
BROAD FUNCTION:
- The purpose of this position is to assist teaching and administrative staff by performing duties associated with the classroom instruction, behavioral intervention for students and clerical functions.
- Paraeducator Hours: 8:45am-3:15pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide support to Summer School students under the supervision of the Summer School Coordinator
- Effectively communicate with staff regarding student progress
- Utilize safe & appropriate procedures when working with students
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Assist in preparing student materials as instructed
- Assist with supervision of student arrival and dismissal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current experience working with students demonstrating a range of academic and social learning needs
- Applicants must be committed to working the entire Summer School session.
LOCATION: Wesley Elementary School
COMPENSATION: $19.53 per hour, no benefits (Or current MPS Rate)
