Student Support Services Facilitator (Department Base)
This position will be filled according to Civil Service rules by provisional appointment pending Civil Service Examination. The minimum requirements for the Civil Service Examination are A) a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute or B) 60 credits and three (3) years of related work experience or C) Five (5) years of related work experience.
LOCATION
Special Services Department
DUTIES
Coordinate scholar support including social, emotional, physical and intellectual
Collaborate with educational team and help with appropriate follow-ups involving supportive community services
Be attentive to school - community relationships and work to strengthen scholar and family engagement in education
Will be involved with home visitation, parent/guardian contact, referral of students and families to appropriate school and community resources
