REQUIREMENTS
- Either (a) a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Managent or closely related field; Or(b) satisfactory completion of 30 credits and two years related work experience in a business-related area. Or (c) At least (5) five years of experince working in a human resource department
- This position will be filled according to Civil Service rules by a provisional appointment pending Civil Service Examination.

DUTIES
- May act as technical advisors to human resource program and assist in giving interpretations of negotiated labor agreements.
- May interview and make recommendations on candidates for vacant positions, assists on on-boarding new employees and explaining various employee benefits, including NYS retirement and available health benefits.
- Compiles reports and data as required.
- Responds to inquires regarding human resource practices, procedures and services.
- Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
