Role Description The National Account Sales Manager is a full-time business development role. This role is responsible for prospecting and developing new business in CPG, Health & Beauty, retail, food service, and event marketing segments. Managing and growing key national accounts, building long-term client relationships. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting, conducting client meetings, presenting graphics and display solutions, preparing proposals and pricing, and coordinating project details with internal project management, production, design, and logistics teams. The National Account Sales Manager tracks account performance, forecasts sales, and creates account plans to meet revenue and margin targets. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, representing the company at client visits and trade events, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout each project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in national or key account sales, preferably in printing, graphics, display solutions, or related marketing services.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling to decision-makers at regional and national levels.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and creative aspects of print production, display materials, and retail marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in sales pipeline management, forecasting, and use of CRM tools to track opportunities and account activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities for both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Organizational and project management skills, including coordinating timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of retail marketing, point-of-sale programs, and brand activation strategies is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
