Middlesex Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our expanding Adult Outpatient Mental Health Services team. Position Highlights
This full-time, 40-hour outpatient Psychiatrist position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding practice while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric APRNs, therapists, social workers, nurses, and support staff.
In this role, you will:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients in an outpatient setting
Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate closely with therapists and other members of the care team
Support continuity of care across the mental health services continuum, including transitions from inpatient, emergency, crisis, and intensive outpatient services
Practice in a collegial environment that values physician input, clinical excellence, and innovation
Enjoy a predictable outpatient schedule with minimal call responsibilities
Academic and teaching opportunities, including Middlesex Family Medicine Residents and medical students from Yale/The University of Connecticut
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure
