Position Highlights
Department: ITS Applications
Hours: Full-Time/40 hours
Shift: Days, 1st Shift
Location: Middletown, CT (This position will require on-site work).
Position Summary:
The Beaker Applications Analyst develops the functionality roll out of an information system and supporting IT systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with MT/MLS (ASCP) Generalist certification or Associate’s Degree with MLT (ASCP) Generalist certifications
Previous laboratory experience
Previous Beaker experience
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams
Able to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards
Able to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues
Able to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
Microbiology Experience
Epic Beaker Certification
Wellsky Blood Bank Experience
Basic understanding of clinical workflows and terminology
Working knowledge of information solutions and interfacing
