Mammography Technologist - Per Diem

• Hours: Per Diem

Position Summary:

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of breast imaging procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe environment for patients, co workers, and Medical staff at all times

• Practice safety absolute when identifying patients throughout all breast imaging and procedures

• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions

• Provide high caliber breast imaging at all times by following established protocols and procedures; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results; retaking images as required;

• Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient care

• Exercises independent, professional judgment in the performance of breast imaging

Minimum Qualifications:

• Radiologic Technologist ARRT board certified

• Mammography ARRT board certified

• Must meet all ACR/FDA Personnel Qualifications

• Familiar with EPIC, Philips PACS, Hologic Mammography Equipment

• Good communications skills

• Compassionate patient care skills

• Reliable, punctual and well-organized
