Job Summary
This is a part-time position responsible for transporting students safely and efficiently to and from school on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills.
The Substitute Car Driver will be required to conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, operate cars on approved time schedules, and report accidents and student injuries to authorities. Additionally, they will be expected to establish favorable working relationships with other drivers, maintenance personnel, teachers, students, and principals.
The selected candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED certificate, submit at least two references attesting to their ability, character, and personal qualification, meet car driver certification requirements, and possess a valid Virginia Drivers License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
