Role Description
This is a full-time, in-person Mechanical/Civil Engineering Teacher based in Edison, NJ on the Middlesex College Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing rigorous lessons for High School students majoring in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Students will learn mechanical systems, creating and modifying CAD models, CNC Printing, 3D printing, conducting research and development on engineering projects, and managing project timelines and deliverables. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to innovative projects within the institution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design principles
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Skills in Project Management, including planning and timeline management
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Research and Development (R&D) processes
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience working in an educational, technical, or multidisciplinary environment is a plus
