Brief Description:
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently accepting applications for Varsity Boys Tennis Coach.
Salary will be based on the Varsity Coaches’ salary guide in effect for the 2025-2026 school year. Appointment is made on a yearly basis.
Qualifications:
Be the holder of a New Jersey State Teacher’s Certificate and/or a County Substitute’s Certificate, have a knowledgeable background of the sport as a player or coach in college or in high school, three years of sub-variety coaching preferred, and a successful background in working with young people in a related sports field. Coaches will be certified in CPR/AED and Sports First Aid and must register for the NFHS Coaching Principles Course, if new to the profession, within 120 days of employment. The coach should be familiar with AACCA School Cheer Safety Rules and AACCA Spirit Safety. The candidate must have completed the “A Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention” course as well as the “Concussion in Sports – What you need to Know.” Certifications must be completed before the first day of the season.
