Note: This position is located in Carrollton, TX.
Middleby Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Specialist to join one of our divisional companies within a larger corporate organization. As the primary IT contact for our TurboChef division in Carrollton, TX, you will be critical in ensuring smooth operations, managing end-user support, and maintaining server-based applications. The IT Systems Specialist will be the go-to person for employees with workstation or software issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide outstanding IT services to our division.
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the main point of contact and provide exceptional customer service to end users within the division.
- Manage and prioritize incoming IT requests, incidents, and problems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Monitor and maintain server-based applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Perform regular system audits, backups, and updates to ensure the stability and security of the IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end users, promoting IT best practices.
- Install and replace server, network, and end-user hardware as needed.
- Manage and maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets within the division.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to optimize IT service delivery.
- Implement IT standards and procedures set by Corporate IT and local leadership.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members to pursue service excellence.
- Identify automation to make IT processes repeatable, scalable, and secure.
- Collaborate with the Corporate IT Team to support infrastructure and solutions deployed globally.
- Assist fellow IT System Specialist’s at other divisions as needed.
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or equivalent industry certifications.
- Proven experience as an IT Service Delivery Administrator or similar role.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles, processes, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of server-based applications, network infrastructure, and end-user computing.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Exceptional communication and people skills to interact with end users and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to see patterns in issues and develop long-term solutions.
- Local or Regional travel may be required to support multiple sites for the division or other nearby divisions, depending on the specific division.
