Pay: $21–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Middlebury Dental Center is a modern, patient-focused practice looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role focuses on appointment scheduling, patient communication, and relationship building. You'll help patients stay on track with recommended dental care while supporting an efficient schedule and exceptional patient experience.
Dental experience is preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right person!
Key Responsibilities: Appointment & Patient Relations Coordinator- Contact overdue and unscheduled patients to schedule recommended care.
- Follow up with patients who have outstanding treatment plans.
- Schedule new patient appointments and manage appointment requests.
- Follow up on cancellations and help fill open appointment times.
- Coordinate appointments with specialists and referral offices.
- Answer incoming calls and make outbound patient follow-up calls.
- Build positive patient relationships through friendly, professional communication.
- Support patient retention, in-office marketing initiatives, and practice events.
- Assist with social media coordination and patient testimonials with appropriate consent.
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with people.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with patients.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
Dental or medical office experience, scheduling experience, and familiarity with Open Dental are a plus, but not required.
