Job Summary:
To provide and maintain electric service to MTE consumer members. Must be physically fit to perform the essential functions, which includes responsibilities as directed.
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must possess a valid Tennessee Class "A" Restriction 57 commercial driver's license.
- Must have completed Apprentice Lineman training program and have Journeyman Lineman certificate and experience.
- Must successfully complete MTE Metering School, Substation School, and Transformer School, when offered, with a passing grade of 70.
- Must have working knowledge of RUS construction specifications, which includes all residential services and commercial services, underground,
single-phase and three-phase line construction, and be able to rotate on call.
- Must possess a positive attitude and sincere desire to be of service in all areas covered by the position.
- Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
- Must meet residency requirements as specified in the Labor Agreement.
