Job Summary:
To promote maximum service to MTE teammates by supporting their hardware and software needs in a manner to provide affordable, reliable, safe electricity and outstanding member service.

Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; successful completion of TCAT’s Information Technology program; or four years of related experience.
Certification Requirements
Candidates must possess at least one active certification. Equivalent or higher-level certifications are acceptable.

Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of computer workstations, printers, monitors, keyboards, and scanners, and other peripherals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems.
Senior IT Support Technician Advancement Requirements
To be considered for reclassification to the Senior IT Support Technician level, employees must:
- Complete at least two (2) years of satisfactory job performance.
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Independently manage IT projects.
- Obtain at least three (3) advanced certifications from the above list.
- Receive supervisor recommendation.
- Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
