Job Summary
The Department of Education within the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for part time Education instructors on the Macon and Cochran campuses. Instructors are needed to teach literacy, math, and/or foundational courses and to supervise field experiences. Courses will be taught face-to-face and in a hybrid format (online and face-to-face). Classes will meet during school hours, evenings, and/or Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
Required Educational Qualifications
Minimum of a master's degree in Education, Literacy, Special Education, or a related field.
Required Experience
Must have five (5) years of experience teaching in P -12.
Other Required Qualifications
Must hold a teacher certification in Elementary Education in GA
Must be current on new literacy teaching practices
Must be available to teach two Saturdays a month
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Teaching in higher education setting in a teacher education program
