Nursing Operations Assistant

Description of Duties: (Warner Robins, GA)

Position Summary:

The Nursing Operations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to nursing leadership and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily operations within outpatient clinics, crisis stabilization programs, and other behavioral health services. This position assists with documentation tracking, communication, supply management, compliance monitoring, and coordination of nursing workflows while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist nursing leadership with daily clinic and operational tasks. Monitor and maintain nursing documentation, logs, and required forms. Track and organize temperature logs, medication logs, and compliance paperwork. Assist with scheduling, appointment coordination, and staff communication. Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, meeting agendas, and attendance records. Ensure required forms and documentation are completed accurately and submitted timely. Support nursing staff with supply inventory and ordering processes. Maintain organization of nursing stations, medication rooms, and office areas. Assist with onboarding materials, orientation packets, and training documentation. Communicate professionally with clients, staff, pharmacies, providers, and outside agencies. Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow all agency policies and procedures. Assist with incident report tracking and follow-up documentation. Monitor shared email inboxes and route concerns appropriately. Assist with auditing charts for accuracy, signatures, and required documentation. Support quality improvement initiatives and operational projects as assigned. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Experience in behavioral health or outpatient healthcare preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Education Requirements - Registered Nurse (RN):

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or higher nursing degree required. Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia (or applicable state) required. Current CPR/BLS certification required. Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, outpatient, crisis stabilization, or community health preferred (if applicable). Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
