Description of Duties: (This position is located in Warner Robins, GA)
Oversee programmatic and clinical service provisions at the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Oversee authorizations, productivity, and KPIs for the unit. Oversee Treatment Team meetings and individualized treatment planning for all assessed individuals. Oversee all transitional and discharge planning activities. Provide individual counseling, intake assessments, and crisis services as needed. Develop clinical programmatic service provisions and ensure a documented review of service programming according to DBHDD guidelines. Adhere to productivity standards set form by the agency. Ensures staff completes documentation requirements in accordance with ASO guidelines, federal and state laws, and agency policy. Maintain compliance with DBHDD and agency training requirements for self and staff. Maintain CEU requirements for licensure. Provide clinical supervision and training to paraprofessional staff. Ensure findings from internal audits, external reviews, and certifications are addressed in a timely fashion. Monitor the timekeeping of staff and ensure approvals are completed timely. Ensure supervised programs are in conformance with CARF standards. Ensure attendance of multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure appropriate discharge planning for admitted individuals. Ensure the Crisis Stabilization Unit is in conformance with DBHDD certification standards and DBHDD policies. Provide weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports to Chief Medical Officer regarding programmatic outcomes, performance management, utilization, and admission recidivism. Provide ongoing training regarding CSSRS and safety planning, de-escalation techniques, and debriefing requirements. Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university AND Licensed by GA State Composite Board to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and/or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) AND three years of experience in the provision of therapeutic services with one year of which in a supervisory role OR Master’s degree from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND three years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 3 or position equivalent. Valid, Unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications and/or specializations with 3 years of supervisory/management experience. Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and/or Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).
