Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in office management/assitance to a manager. The position involves handling a variety of clerical tasks and providing exceptional support to our electrical inspectors, office manager and clients.
Duties
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other office management tools for daily tasks.
- Handle customer support inquiries via phone or email, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards.
- Support with administrative duties as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and order necessary materials to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform general clerical duties such as typing, photocopying, and organizing files.
Experience
- Previous office experience or clerical experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service expertise.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems, emails and perform administrative tasks efficiently .
- Proofreading, time management, and filing procedures.
