We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and radiographs
- Prepare patients for procedures and help them feel comfortable and at ease
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care
- Manage patient appointment schedules and recall systems
- Perform laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating provisional restorations
Requirements:
- Quick learner, self-starter and team oriented who enjoys working with the latest technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a dental assistant training program
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with dental software (preferably Eaglesoft) and digital radiography systems
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
